Job summary

ReModern Builders LLC, based in Watertown, MA, is seeking an experienced Skilled Carpenter to join our award-winning residential construction team focused on high-end home renovations, additions, custom remodeling, framing, finish carpentry, and millwork throughout the Greater Boston area.

The right candidate will work across multiple phases, read plans, and collaborate with project managers and subcontractors.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on carpentry or residential construction experience.
• Experience with high-end remodeling, renovations, and additions.
• Strong framing and finish carpentry skills.
• Experience with millwork, trim, doors, cabinetry, or other detailed finish installations.
• Ability to read and work from construction plans and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform residential framing, finish carpentry, millwork installation, layout, and general carpentry work according to plans and specifications.
• Complete remodeling and renovation work on high-end residential projects, including additions and custom home improvements.
• Read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and project specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to keep work progressing efficiently.
• Assist with project layout, material planning, takeoffs, and field-related change order information as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites.
• Receive and verify job-site deliveries.
• Coordinate the movement of materials, tools, and equipment.
• Organize and maintain company tools, equipment, shop materials, and job-site inventory.
• Pick up materials and orders from suppliers and retailers as required.
• Assist with general construction tasks and subcontractor support when needed.
