Job Title: Carpenter – Historic Residences & Remodels

Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and skilled Carpenter to join our team! As a key member of our company, you will have the opportunity to work on historic residences and remodeling projects. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and experience in historic remodeling, particularly in framing and detailed trim work. This position requires the ability to work independently, follow safety protocols, and maintain high standards of craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform framing and detailed trim work on historic homes and remodel projects.
2. Work independently with little supervision, ensuring projects are completed on time and to specification.
3. Provide high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail in all work.
4. Collaborate with the team to solve challenges specific to historic structures.
5. Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
6. Inspect and maintain tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
7. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and clients to ensure project requirements are met.

Qualifications:

1. Proven experience as a Carpenter, with a focus on historic remodeling and residential construction.
2. Strong knowledge of framing, detailed trim work, and other carpentry techniques.
3. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
4. Experience with problem-solving and working on challenging projects involving older homes.
5. Excellent work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude.
6. Commitment to producing high-quality work and upholding company standards.
