Job summary

Right at Home in Clarkson, KY seeks Caregivers, CNAs, and HHAs to support seniors and adults with disabilities at home. You will help with daily living activities, mobility, meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship in a compassionate, respectful environment.

The role offers competitive pay, flexible scheduling, weekly pay, paid training, and chances to advance within a nationwide home care company with over 25 years of experience. PPE is provided and support is available from the A team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs.
• English reading/writing/speaking needed for the job.
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, or Personal Care Aide certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Perform housekeeping tasks (vacuum, dust, chores, laundry, dishes, bathrooms).
• Prepare meals and snacks per instructions.
• Accompany clients to errands or medical appointments.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, shaving, and personal care.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Support ROM exercises as prescribed.
• Provide dementia care and companionship activities.

Responsibilities and Duties

In this role, you will have the chance to perform personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living, which include (but are not limited to):

• Assisting with transferring/moving client from place to place throughout their home
• Performing housekeeping activities which include (but are not limited to): vacuuming, dusting, sweeping or mopping floors, doing dishes, changing bed linens, doing laundry and cleaning the bathroom
• Preparing meals and snacks according to instructions
• Accompanying client on errands or medical appointments
• Bathing/Showering/Dressing/Shaving
• Medication reminders
• Assisting with prescribed range of motion exercises
• Dementia care
• Companionship activities such as reading, music, puzzles, etc.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• Must be able to lift/move 25 lbs without assistance
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
• Possess a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance
• Pass a background check
• CNA license, Home Health Aide, Personal Care Aide certification preferred
