Job summary

Friendship Village Retirement Community in Waterloo, IA is hiring for full-time nurses (RN/LPN) to care for seniors. Responsibilities include vitals, medication administration, daily care, and supervising CNAs. The role emphasizes compassionate, holistic care within a supportive family environment.

Starting pay ranges from $30.00–$34.00 per hour for RNs and $27.00–$30.00 per hour for LPNs. Second shift adds $2/hr and third shift adds $3/hr.

Qualifications

• Valid license as Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Applicants may be required to pass pre-employment screenings including: Criminal background checks, Abuse registry check, Drug test, Physical, TB test.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical assessments including vitals and medication administration.
• Assist with day-to-day care of residents and supervise CNAs.
• Provide compassionate, holistic care to residents and support their physical, mental, and spiritual health.

Duties would include physical assessments including vitals, medication administration, help with day to day care of residents and assist with supervision of CNA's. • Starting pay for RN $30.00 - $34.00 per hour
• Starting pay for LPN $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
• Shift differential pay - $2/hr for 2nd shift and $3 for third shift.
