Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications related to bookbinding.

Responsibilities

• Fold, sew, glue, trim and case-in to assemble books.
• Repair and restore damaged books using conservation techniques.
• Prepare materials such as leather, cloth, paper and adhesives to meet project specifications.
• Operate and maintain specialized bookbinding machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with clients and team members to understand project requirements and deliver high-quality finished products on schedule.
