Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Fabricates the metal body on the fire apparatus.
• Reads and follows blueprints and specifications to complete objectives.
• Welds, sands, cuts, and bolts materials to build the body of the fire apparatus.
• Mounts body and pump house onto the subframe of the fire apparatus.
• Mounts support for equipment to be installed as needed.
• Checks the work of the blueprints and specifications to ensure a workable product.
