Job summary

Rosenbauer America is seeking a Paint Cut Welder to perform detailed layouts based on drawings and install components on the fire apparatus body. You will drill holes, weld brackets, and perform inspections to ensure all work matches blueprints and specifications.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma/GED, MIG and TIG welding experience, and the ability to read blueprints and tape measures. Safety and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous welding experience required (MIG/TIG preferred).
• Able to read blueprints/spec books and tape measures.
• Strong mechanical and technical ability; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed layouts based on drawings and specs.
• Drill holes in the apparatus body for equipment installation.
• Weld brackets and metal pieces onto the cab.
• Inspect cab and welds to ensure accuracy per blueprint.
• Drill and weld per blueprint and specs; support production needs.
• Assist as needed to meet department requirements.
