Job summary

Rikos Levittown is seeking a bartender to join our Front of the House team in Levittown, NY. You will greet guests, take orders, prepare drinks, and ensure an exceptional experience while maintaining a clean bar area.

Responsibilities include verifying IDs, opening/closing tabs, managing inventory, and adhering to safety and sanitation regulations. Applicants should have prior bartending experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy weight, stand for long periods of time, and perform repetitive motions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to keep bar area neat and clean including cleaning glasses and utensils and emptying trash.

Responsibilities

• Verify identification and age requirements of customers.
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, in a timely and efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including stocking supplies and cleaning equipment.
• Open and maintain tabs throughout their shift.
• Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
• Provide exceptional guest service by engaging with guests and ensuring their needs are met.
• Adhere to all safety and sanitation regulations, including responsible alcohol service.
• Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
