Job summary

SSP America in Dallas is seeking a Bartender to join our restaurant team. You will process orders, handle payments, serve drinks and food, keep the bar stocked and clean, and ensure guest satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year bartending experience with state/federal/local certification, good English communication, cash handling skills, and the ability to stand for long periods. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years old or older.
• At least 1 year bartending experience with required certifications.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service.
• Proficient in English with clear communication (verbal and written).
• Able to read, speak and understand English to communicate with guests and take orders.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, weighing and measuring.
• Brand certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and enter them accurately into the POS system.
• Receive payment from the customer and process change.
• Serve drinks and food to guests.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Ensure that the work area is clean throughout the day.
• Clean equipment and utensils, remove trash, sweep and mop the work area.
• Other duties as assigned.
