Job summary

Alpha One Ford in La Grange, TX is seeking an experienced Automotive Body Shop Technician to join our collision team. You will perform dent removal, panel replacement, frame and structural work, and refinishing preparation to factory standards.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of body shop experience, I-CAR or OEM certifications, and a strong eye for detail. This is a full-time, in-person role with opportunities for growth in a modern, team-oriented shop.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience in automotive body or collision repair.
• I-CAR or OEM certifications required; painting/estimating preferred but not required.
• Strong repair process knowledge and tool/material understanding.
• Ability to read and interpret repair orders and manuals.
• Detail-oriented with precision workmanship.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform body repairs including dent removal, panel replacement, and structural straightening
• Refinish and prepare surfaces for painting to OEM standards
• Align and fit vehicle components such as doors, panels, and bumpers
• Work with insurance adjusters and estimators for repair accuracy
• Maintain detailed documentation for all repair work
• Ensure work meets dealership and manufacturer safety/quality standards
• Operate power tools and welding equipment safely
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe workspace
