Voyles of Birmingham is seeking an experienced Skilled Service Technician for our Main Shop. You will diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, electrical systems, steering, suspension, and HVAC, working in a high-volume dealership environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an automotive service technician.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to flag hours efficiently while maintaining quality workmanship.
• ASE certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, and HVAC.
• Perform warranty, recall, and customer-pay repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Complete repairs in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and service information systems.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Communicate effectively with Service Advisors and management regarding repair status.
