Ed Voyles Kia is seeking skilled Main Shop Technicians to join our service department. You will perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a wide range of vehicle makes and models in a professional environment.

Applicants should have 2+ years of automotive technician experience and be proficient with diagnostic tools and dealership software. Certifications are preferred or pursued, and a valid driver's license is required for this fast-paced role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years automotive technician experience
• Certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain them)
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, scan equipment, and repair software
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models
• Troubleshoot issues with vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, electrical, and HVAC
• Communicate findings and recommendations with Service Advisors to ensure accurate job estimates
• Utilize advanced tools, equipment, and dealership-specific software to complete repair orders efficiently
• Mentor and assist less experienced technicians when needed
• Adhere to dealership safety standards and maintain a clean and organized workspace
