Job summary

Classic Collision is seeking an Auto Body Technician in Delray Beach, FL. The role involves disassembling vehicles, planning repairs, and performing body work with a focus on quality and safety. You will use hand and power tools, welders, and painting prep to restore vehicles to industry standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• I-CAR or ASE certifications preferred.
• 2-3 years collision repair experience preferred.
• Valid Driver's License Required.
• Customer-focused attitude and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble vehicle to assist estimators in assessing damage and plan repairs.
• Identify repairs to minimize supplements and repair time.
• Follow work orders and plan work procedure for operations.
• Access damaged area by removing upholstery and components; store parts properly.
• Repair body using hammering, welding, and panel replacement per standards.
• Operate hand and power tools (welder, cutters, grinders, sanders, spray guns).
• Finish surfaces by filing, grinding, and sanding before Paint Dept.
