Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Skilled Arborist in Surrey, BC to perform arboricultural duties with a focus on safety, quality, and client service. You’ll monitor trees, perform pruning, removals, hazard assessments, and other tasks while upholding company standards and safety policies.

The role requires ISA certification consideration, a valid Class 5 with Air Brakes soon after hire, WHMIS and First Aid, and the ability to lead crews and communicate clearly with clients.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of arboricultural/climbing/aerial lift truck experience.
• ISA Certified Arborist, or comparable industry training will be considered.
• Possess or obtain a Class 5 Drivers Licence with Air Brakes Endorsement shortly after hire.
• WHMIS Certificate required.
• First Aid Certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safety-conscious and high-quality arboricultural services.
• Lead crews and coordinate with clients to ensure satisfaction.
• Record keeping of work orders and tailgate safety checks.
• Operate heavy machinery/hand tools and ensure proper maintenance.

Specific Duties

A Skilled Arborist will have a variety of duties and activities to perform daily, with the main priority being monitoring and delivering safety conscious and high-quality arboricultural services.
