Job summary

Civitas Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to partner with the Maintenance Director in creating a safe, vibrant living environment for residents. You will oversee daily walkthroughs, address malfunctions, and perform preventive maintenance while ensuring safety standards.

The role requires at least 1 year of maintenance experience in a multifamily setting, ability to lift 50 lbs, and preferred HVAC/plumbing/electrical certifications.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year as a Maintenance Tech, preferably in multifamily housing.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Certifications in HVAC, plumbing, or electrical are a plus.

Maintenance Technician Job Profile

As a Maintenance Technician, you will partner with the Maintenance Director in creating a safe and vibrant living environment for our residents. Your expertise will make a tangible difference as you focus on:

• Facility Management: Conduct daily walkthroughs, identifying and promptly addressing malfunctions for repair.
• Skilled Maintenance Solutions: Provide skilled attention to maintenance problems and assigned service requests, ensuring quality workmanship.
• Equipment Troubleshooting: Showcase your ability to diagnose and repair various types of equipment.
• Expense Control: Collaborate with the Maintenance Director in managing parts expenses and reviewing costs before purchases.
• Preventive Care: Assist in coordinating preventative maintenance, adhering to specific schedules and protocols.
• Record Keeping: Maintain essential records, data, and paperwork with precision.
• Resident-Centric Service: Deliver exceptional customer service with empathy and responsiveness.
