Job summary

Larson Design Group seeks a SkillBridge Project Manager Intern to support planning, coordination, and delivery of multidisciplinary projects across master planning, programming, landscape architecture, and GIS services.

You will work with federal, state, local agencies and private-sector clients, applying PMI-aligned practices to real-world AEC projects and preparing for a civilian project management career.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a project team.
• Ability to interact with clients, project team, vendors, and other external groups in a professional manner.
• Demonstrates a strong desire to expand knowledge and take on new responsibilities within the field.

Responsibilities

• Supports all phases of the project lifecycle, from planning and execution through monitoring and closeout.
• Coordinates project activities across planning, landscape architecture, and GIS disciplines.
• Assists with development and tracking of project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Supports cost tracking, forecasting, and earned value management activities.
• Assists with contract administration, consultant coordination, and procurement activities, including public-sector contracts.
• H e l p s i m p l e m e n t project quality standards and participates in quality reviews.
• Prepares project status updates and reports for internal teams and government clients.
• M aintains accurate project documentation in accordance with company and federal requirements.
• Supports client and stakeholder communication to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Collaborates with technical leads and discipline managers to support staffing and workload coordination.
