Job summary

Larson Design Group (LDG) invites military-ready candidates to join as a SkillBridge Project Manager Intern, gaining hands-on experience in planning, coordination, and delivery of multidisciplinary master planning, landscape architecture, and GIS projects.

You will work alongside planners, landscape architects, and GIS professionals on projects for federal, state, and local agencies, applying PMI-aligned project management practices to real-world civilian roles.

Qualifications

• Active-duty U.S. service member eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge Program.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• Must meet all SkillBridge requirements and receive command approval before start date.
• Must be within the authorized SkillBridge transition window before separation or retirement.

Responsibilities

• Supports all phases of the project lifecycle from planning to closeout.
• Coordinates project activities across planning, landscape architecture, and GIS disciplines.
• Assists with development and tracking of project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Monitors cost tracking, forecasting, and earned value management activities.
• Supports contract administration, consultant coordination, and procurement activities.
• Helps implement project quality standards and participate in quality reviews.
• Prepares project status updates and reports for internal teams and government clients.
• Maintains accurate project documentation per company and federal requirements.
• Supports client and stakeholder communication to ensure timely issue resolution.
• Collaborates with technical leads and managers to support staffing and workload.
