Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Facilitate continuous improvement events to define and improve processes in the forming and finishing of aircraft composite structures.
• Analyze manufacturing processes for opportunities to minimize scrap, reduce cost, increase capacity, and optimize schedule.
• Provide support to the manufacturing floor by working with cross-functional teams to understand frontline problems and implement cost-saving, impactful solutions.
• Work with program leadership to assess what-if scenarios and guide long-term strategic decision making across programs.
• Generate metrics and conduct studies pertaining to efficiency, cycle times, work-in-progress, manpower, cost performance, and product delivery.
• Partner with manufacturing management to develop and track recovery plans that instill confidence with program management and customers.
• Apply systems thinking in the development of metrics to improve product flow from raw materials to delivery.
• Develop and summarize analyses for the acquisition, maintenance and enhancement of capital assets and equipment; provide capacity planning, rate tool analyses, and facility layouts.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications for Level 2:

• Bachelor\'s degree with 2 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree.
• Ability to work on an assembly floor.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and special program access.

Basic Qualifications for Level 3:

• Bachelor\'s degree with 6 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work on an assembly floor.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and special program access.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Bachelor of Science Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math).
• Experience using the full suite of Microsoft Office tools.

Salary and Benefits

Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $81,400.00 - $122,000.00

The salary range represents a general guideline; base offers consider scope, experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Depending on the position, overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus may apply. Bonuses reward individual contributions and company results. Long Term Incentives may apply for Vice President or Director roles. Benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, a savings plan, company-paid holidays, and paid time off.
