SkillBridge Program Summary
Northrop Grumman offers a SkillBridge Program to provide service members with civilian work experience during the final 6 months of service. Participants receive on‑site training equivalent to a 40‑hour work week, while gaining exposure to senior‑level support, professional networking, and technical skills aligned with Northrop Grumman’s mission.
Program Goals, Objectives & Outcomes
- Provide job skill training in a professional setting during the final phase of military service.

Eligibility Requirements
- Served at least 180 days on active duty.

Project Manager – Level2 / Operations Principal Project Manager – Level3
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks an experienced Project Manager or Operations Principal Project Manager responsible for operations and business improvement across 2000+ employees at Iuka, MS.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate continuous improvement events to develop, define and improve processes in the forming and finishing of aircraft composite structures.
- Analyze manufacturing processes to minimize scrap, reduce cost, increase capacity and optimize schedule.
- Provide support to the manufacturing floor by working proactively with cross‑functional teams to understand front‑line problems and implement cost‑saving, impactful solutions.
- Work with program leadership to assess what‑if scenarios and guide long‑term strategic decision‑making across several different programs.
- Generate metrics and conduct studies pertaining to efficiency, cycle times, work‑in‑progress, manpower, cost performance and product delivery.
- Partner with manufacturing management to develop and track recovery plans that instill confidence with program management and customers.
- Apply systems thinking to develop metrics that improve product flow from raw material release to product delivery.
- Develop and summarize analyses for the acquisition, maintenance and enhancement of capital assets and equipment, including capacity planning, rate‑tool analyses and facility layouts to ensure success of composite operations.
Basic Qualifications
- Level2: Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree.
- Level2: Ability to work on an assembly floor.
- Level2: Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance and special program access.
- Level3: Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 4 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with cross‑functional teams in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) field.
- Experience using the full suite of Microsoft Office Tools.
Salary Range
Primary Level: $62,100.00 – $93,100.00
Secondary Level: $77,000.00 – $115,600.00
