Northrop Grumman in Baltimore, MD is seeking a SkillBridge Principal/Senior Principal Mission Engineering Systems Engineer to join our Modeling, Simulation and Analysis team. The role focuses on mission engineering, system architecture, and large-scale data analytics, with on-site work and DoD-grade secrecy.

The position requires a U.S. government Secret clearance and a strong background in MATLAB, STK, AFSIM/Brawler, and Python/C++.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics required or equivalent.
Experience with modeling, simulation, experimentation, and analysis for operations.
Strong programming experience in Python/C++, Linux/Windows scripting.

Responsibilities

Apply MS&A techniques with a focus on Mission Engineering to accelerate capability delivery.
Perform analysis-of-alternatives and mission architecture trades across platforms and sensors.
Evaluate CONEMPS, CONOPS, and DRM to influence system design and optimization.
Link system requirements to mission threads and validate interfaces.
Plan demonstration and delivery of mission effects and sustainment support.
Develop large scale data analytics and statistics for mission performance.
Innovate to improve MSE&A products and processes.
Model environments, run trade studies, and recommend architectures.
Create and integrate GUI/visualization tools for analyses.
