Job summary

Siemens Mobility invites active-duty U.S. military personnel to participate in a SkillBridge Internship – Field Technician in Alaska. This program enables hands-on experience across building automation, fire/safety, and security systems with a global technology leader.

You will diagnose, repair, install, and commission equipment, coordinate with engineering teams, and document work while building practical customer-facing skills for a future role at Siemens Mobility.

Qualifications

• Active military status and approval for SkillBridge participation required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, thermodynamic, hydraulic, mechatronic, or related systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose HVAC/Building Automation, Fire/Life Safety, or Integrated Security systems on-site and repair or install as needed.
• Consult with internal engineering and management for discrepancies in drawings or problems.
• Document service work, provide training guidance, and suggest system enhancements to customers.
