Job summary

Meridian Health Services is seeking a full‑time Skill Builder I for our Children's program in Madison County, IN. This role provides skills and development training to aid patients and families in achieving milestones and reducing barriers, working with the clinical team to implement treatment plans.

The candidate will assist with individual and group skills training, coordination of care, and maintaining clinical records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years paid behavioral healthcare experience or equivalent coursework.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with adequate driving record and proof of auto insurance.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Therapist in developing and revising treatment plans and monitor progress toward goals.
• Provide individual and group skills training for adults and/or children to reduce psychosocial barriers.
• Deliver daily living and coping skills training to support developmental milestones.
• Provide case management services and coordinate care with the clinical team.
• Maintain clinical records, reports and forms and other administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure integrated care and effective communication with patients.
• Attend continuing education activities to stay current in practice.
