Vail Health in Vail, Colorado seeks a seasonal Care Transport Specialist from October through April to support the Emergency Department with ski patrol coordination and patient transport.

In this seasonal position (October - April) you will have the opportunity to embrace the winter wonderland of Vail, Colorado with world-class skiing/snowboarding and the vibrant atmosphere of a top-notch hospital with a strong orthopedic case load. Assumes responsibility for the safe transport of injured or ill skiers from the local ski areas to the Emergency Department or Emergency Services Clinic. Provides care for all patient types based on age specific criteria.

One year of experience as a care tech or EMT preferred.
Valid, unrestricted driver's license required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) by the American Heart Association required.
Must possess, or be able to obtain within 90 days, the computers skills necessary to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
Must have working knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English.
