Valor Environmental is seeking a Full-Time Crew Leader (Construction/Landscaping) in Raleigh, NC. The role leads daily crew activities, coordinates on-site tasks with clients, and enforces safety and company standards while managing materials and paperwork. The position requires outdoor work, weekend hours, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Lead daily crew operations and logistics on-site.
• Interface with clients to ensure workmanship quality.
• Uphold company culture in the crew (appearance, attitude, safety).
• Ensure materials are maintained and used efficiently; minimize waste.
• Operate heavy equipment and trucks safely according to regulations.
• Demonstrate organization and basic tech usage (phones/computers).
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Full-Time Crew Leader (Construction/Landscaping)

Salary range: $19 - $22/h

Job Responsibilities

• Leads all efforts of crew work for the day’s events (driving to site, management of materials, quality of work, sign off on inspection reports, communication in field, care of materials and tools, managing overtime, illustrating safety measures, etc.)
• Interacts with clients on site to assure work is done
• Crew leader reinforces company culture with crew (attire, communication, work ethic, safety, and attitude)
• Assures that job materials are well kept, maintained and utilized without waste
• Operates heavy equipment (trencher, skid steer, bobcat, backhoe, sweeper) and truck/trailer safely. Abides by all applicable laws/regulations.
• Demonstrates organization and electronic usage capability (i.e. using phone, computers, etc.)
• Crew leader will complete all required paperwork and submissions accurately and timely
• Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Previous construction or landscaping leadership experience
• Must have a valid Driver's License
• Must be able to physically work outdoors in all types of weather
• Must be able to work weekends and extended hours as needed
• Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment to complete assigned job tasks. Be able to lift 50 pounds of weight frequently throughout assigned workday.
