Qualifications

• Proven experience operating a skid steer (preferred).

• Ability to work in outdoor conditions for extended periods.
• Strong focus on safety and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a skid steer for material handling, grading, loading.
• Conduct daily pre-use inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Follow all company and site-specific safety policies and procedures.
• Work effectively as part of a crew and communicate with supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Title: Skid Steer Operator

Reports to: Project Superintendent
Salary Range: $28 - $31 Hourly

What You Will Do:

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Skid Steer Operator to support our operations in the Midland / West Texas area. This is a temporary assignment expected to last approximately two months. The ideal candidate will be safety-conscious, dependable, and capable of operating a skid steer efficiently in a fast-paced field environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate a skid steer to perform material handling, grading, loading, and related tasks
• Conduct daily pre-use equipment inspections and report any maintenance needs
• Follow all company and site-specific safety policies and procedures
• Work effectively as part of a crew and communicate clearly with supervisors
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• Proven experience operating a skid steer (preferred)
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)
• Skid steer or other heavy equipment operator certifications/licenses are a strong plus
• Ability to work in outdoor conditions for extended periods
• Strong focus on safety and attention to detail
• Reliable transportation and ability to report to the job site on time

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly pay: $28 – $31 per hour, depending on experience
• $100 per working day per diem
• Temporary assignment lasting approximately 2 months
