Job summary

Valor Environmental is seeking a Full-Time Skid Steer Operator and Crew Leader for construction and landscaping projects. Lead a crew, operate skid steer machinery, and handle erosion control tasks on-site.

Qualifications

• Previous construction or landscaping leadership experience.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
• Must be able to work outdoors in all types of weather.
• Must be able to work weekends and extended hours as needed.
• Be able to lift, pull and push materials and equipment, including 50 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of Environmental Field Service Specialists in the absence of the Field Quality Manager.
• Install and remove silt fence.
• Install protection to storm inlets.
• Work with heavy duty hand tools (sledge hammer/shovels, etc.).
• Install various types of erosion control measures (BMPs) as prescribed by reporting agencies.
• Watch for safety hazards on the jobsite and correct employees when unsafe.
• Operate company machinery.
• Additional duties as assigned.
