Job summary

Vail Resorts is hiring for winter 2026/27 as a Sundial Lodge ski valet. The role involves welcoming guests, delivering and storing ski equipment, and keeping storage areas organized and secure. It requires being able to lift 50 lbs, working weekends/holidays, and delivering courteous service in a fast-paced setting.

Starting wage is $15/hr plus tips, with a guaranteed minimum of $20/hour for tipped roles. This is a winter seasonal position with full-time and part-time hours and housing not

Qualifications

• Starting Wage: $15/hr + tips.
• If hired into a tipped position, guaranteed to make a minimum of $20/hour, inclusive of tips.
• Employment Type: Winter Seasonal 2026/2027.
• Shift Type: Full Time and Part Time hours available.
• Minimum Age: At least 18 years of age.
• Housing Availability: No.

Responsibilities

• Prompt retrieval and storage of guest's snow gear and luggage.
• Maintain up-to-date inventory of all stored ski/snowboard gear, including guest contact info, confidentially handling guest information.
• Handle guest complaints and questions in a calm, professional manner.
• Greeting guests by name and engaging in conversation. Provide recommendations for terrain based on skill level and other points of interest.
• Watch for guests arriving, coming to retrieve items, and returning to the lodge.
• Maintain a clean working area outside and in ski storage.
