Job Summary

The Ski Valet plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional member experience by providing professional, personalized, and efficient ski equipment services. This position is responsible for the daily handling, storage, transportation, and preparation of memberski and snowboard equipment while maintaining high standards of service, organization, and discretion.

Job Specifications

Job Responsibilities
Member Service
  • Provide warm, professional, and personalized service to members and guests at all times.
  • Greet members by name whenever possible and engage in friendly, meaningful interactions
  • Anticipate member needs and provide timely assistance with equipment and other requests.
  • Monitor member arrivals and departures from the slopes, ensuring skis and equipment are readily available.
  • Address member questions and concerns promptly, professionally, and courteously.
Ski Equipment Management
  • Prepare and deliver member skis and snowboards to designated areas in a timely manner.
  • Retrieve equipment following members' return from the slopes.
  • Transport ski equipment between valet operations, storage locations.
  • Organize and stage equipment based on daily and weekly member usage schedules.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records for all member equipment.
  • Coordinate ski tuning and repair services, including documentation, and retrieval.
  • Log daily ski activity and maintain accurate operational records.
Club Operations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe ski storage area, workspaces, and outdoor service locations.
  • Assist with general Club operations and member requests as needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures when handling equipment, operating racks, and moving inventory.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and teamwork by supporting fellow team members and department operations.
Professional Standards
  • Arrive on time, in proper uniform, and fully prepared for scheduled shifts.
  • Represent the Club in a professional and positive manner at all times.
  • Maintain a cooperative attitude and respond positively to feedback and direction from managers and peers.
Job Requirements
Experience & Skills
  • Previous hospitality, guest service, luxury service, or ski industry experience are preferred.
  • Knowledge of ski and snowboard equipment, maintenance, and handling practices are preferred.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and solutions-focused when addressing member concerns.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with high-profile members while maintaining professionalism.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to move and maneuver large rolling ski racks and equipment carts safely.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
  • Ability and willingness to work outdoors in winter weather conditions for extended periods.
Schedule Requirements
  • Must be available to report to work by 7:30 a.m., in uniform and ready to begin duties.
  • Must be available to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and peak vacation periods.

The expected pay range is $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
