Alterra Mountain Company is seeking a Seasonal role at Palisades Tahoe to repair, tune, and assemble skis and snowboards. Applicants must be 18+ and the position is not remote.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months of customer service or related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hand tools and ski/snowboard equipment helpful.
• Experience with POS systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide exemplary customer service to all customers and employees.
• Greet and assist every guest entering the store promptly.
• Service and repair customer merchandise following established guidelines.
• Resolve customer concerns and problems tactfully and efficiently.
• Complete necessary documentation and paperwork accurately.
• Adhere to all area and industry procedures and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Demonstrate proficiency in sales techniques when required.
• Collaborate with other departments as needed.
• Assess customer equipment needs and assist with rental selections.
• Ensure rental equipment is well-maintained.
• Train customers on equipment care and usage.
