Job summary

Giants Ridge, managed by Guest Services, is seeking a full-time seasonal Ski & Snowboard Tune Technician to support our Rental Shop operations.

In this role you will inspect, tune, repair, and maintain ski and snowboard equipment to ensure guests receive safe, reliable gear. This includes waxing, edge tuning, binding testing, and maintaining thorough maintenance records for a fast-paced mountain environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
• Experience in ski/snowboard tuning or rental shop operations preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to learn tuning and repair procedures.
• Ability to understand guest biometric information for binding settings.
• Strong attention to detail with accurate documentation.
• Basic computer skills and use of rental management systems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Flexible availability including some evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, tune, repair, and maintain skis and snowboards.
• Perform waxing, edge tuning, base repairs, and binding testing.
• Document repairs, testing, and maintenance activities accurately.
• Communicate with guests regarding equipment condition and recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Share technical knowledge with coworkers and follow safety standards.
