Job summary

Nordic Valley is seeking energetic team members to join its guest services in a fast-paced mountain resort environment. You will set ski bindings, select the right snowboard, and guide guests through the rental process while enjoying resort perks and discounts.

Responsibilities include issuing equipment, adjusting settings per specs, inspecting gear, handling returns, and answering guest questions about procedures and the resort.

Qualifications

• Must have excellent guest service skills.
• Must have excellent and clear communication skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to learn and effectively utilize rental software systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift weights of up to 20 lbs. overhead.

Responsibilities

• Issue proper and well-fitting rental equipment to guests.
• Adjust equipment settings in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.
• Inspect equipment for damage, malfunction, and compatibility.
• Process returned equipment and store it in the appropriate locations.
• Be knowledgeable of the range of equipment offered.
• Answer guest questions regarding rental procedures, the ski area, and Resort operations.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe working environment.
• Work well with team members, demonstrate good communication skills, and promote a positive work environment.
• Follow supervisors direction and perform other duties as assigned.
