Job summary

Eaglecrest Ski Area in Alaska is seeking qualified Certified Instructor Level I candidates to teach children and beginners on the lower mountain. You will be part of a team set to provide safe, enjoyable lessons in varied weather and mountain conditions.

The role requires PSIA/AASI Level I or comparable certification, and successful applicants will participate in ongoing training, maintain accurate records, and work a schedule Wednesday through Sunday plus holidays.

Qualifications

• PSIA/AASI Level I certification or foreign equivalency at appointment.
• Proficiency as an advanced/expert skier or snowboarder in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Teach up to 6 guests on the lower mountain for children and beginners.
• Maintain class records with skill levels, lessons, and progress notes.
• Complete incident/accident reports promptly and fill timesheets accurately.
• Participate in cross over training for mountain safety.
