Heavenly Mountain Resort in South Lake Tahoe, CA, is hiring Non Certified Ski or Snowboard Instructors for Winter Seasonal 2026/2027. Starting wage is $20.00/hr. Flexible full or part-time hours, minimum age 16, housing not provided.

Job includes teaching children, delivering top-tier guest service, and ensuring a safe, fun learning environment. Applicants must ski well on blue terrain, be fluent in English, and be willing to work weekends/holidays. Training and skill standards apply.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable and competent skiing on groomed blue terrain.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Must be willing to work weekends/holidays.
• Placement as an instructor is contingent upon training and meeting safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Teach child group lessons as assigned.
• Work with a focus on children.
• Deliver world-class guest service.
• Create a safe and fun learning environment.
• Support all needs of the snow sports school: including scanning, operating lifts, lunch, and equipment fitting.
• Provide guest feedback that inspires lifelong skiers.
• Other duties as assigned.
