Vail Resorts is hiring for Ski School Support Staff in the Lake Tahoe area. The role supports children aged 3–6, assisting in the beginner area, managing equipment, and helping with lesson check-in. Seasonal winter term 2026/2027 with full-time and part-time hours is offered.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, strong English skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Expect a base wage of $20–$23 per hour plus benefits and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a fast-paced, service-based environment.
• Fluent in all aspects of English language.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Strong communication skills with guests and employees.
• Successfully pass the background check required.

Responsibilities

• Assist ski school operations for children aged 3-6 in the beginner area.
• Determine proper boot sizes and set equipment accordingly.
• Scan students to confirm tickets and lesson bookings.
• Answer guest questions about drop-off/pick-up and required purchases.
• Work with instructors and supervisors to manage young children on snow.
• Help children in and out of lunch and supervise activities indoors.
• Assist children onto/off the magic carpet and supervise its operation.
• Set up lunch area and assist in kitchen cleanup after lunch.
• Be willing to work on the snow for several hours each day with instructors.
