Job summary

The Summit at Snoqualmie, Seattle's home mountain, seeks a Rental Repair Technician to inspect, tune, and repair skis, snowboards, boots, and bindings, ensuring gear is safe and ready for guests. You will maintain the rental fleet, perform waxing and repairs, document services, and meet weekly tuning quotas.

Certification from binding manufacturers must be obtained within 7–14 days. Wage ranges from $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, with 401(k) vesting and sick time accrual, plus discretionary matching

Qualifications

• Technical knowledge of ski/snowboard equipment, tuning, and repairs.
• Ability to communicate effectively and courteously with guests and co-workers.
• Excellent attention to detail, cleanliness, and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of repairs, adjustments, and service logs.
• Inspect returned gear for damage and document repairs.
• Perform tuning, waxing, and minor equipment repairs.
• Determine proper sizing and DIN settings and perform safety checks.
• Operate ski and bag check service and manage gear storage.
