Job summary

Angel Fire Resort is seeking Retail/Rental Cashiers to join our team this winter at the Slopeside Ski Shop. You will assist guests with retail purchases, sell rental packages, and answer questions about products and resort offerings to ensure a positive guest experience.

A successful cashier will have great communication, maintain a positive attitude, and work accurately and timely in a fast-paced environment, with experience in retail or ski settings considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and guest service skills.
• Experience in retail or ski industry is a plus.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greets guests as they enter the store and responds to guests in a courteous and efficient manner.
• Answers questions concerning cost of items, features of items, resort activities, hours of operations, weather conditions, etc.
• Continuously self-educates on product functions and features to better promote product benefits to guests.
• Operates a Point-of-Sale system, rings out tickets accurately, and handles cash transactions properly
• Keeps storefront clean, stocked, and well organized by continuously checking displays and racks throughout shift.
• Assists supervisors/managers with daily projects as needed.
