Job summary

Loveland Ski Area is seeking a Non-Certified Ski & Ride School Apprentice (Ages 14-17). This seasonal, part-time position requires weekends and holidays and pays $19.00-$22.00/hour. The role supports instructors, helps guests, and assists with equipment and safety.

Applicants must be at least 14 years old, with basic skiing ability and a willingness to learn Loveland training materials. Benefits include season pass access, employee shuttle, and training clinics.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 14 years of age.
• Must be able to ski/snowboard at a technical level appropriate for duties.
• Middle School culmination certificate or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Instructors in teaching and conducting group lessons with safety, fun and learning as the primary goals.
• Provide content introduction, guidance, feedback, practice time and wrap up as outlined in Loveland training materials.
• Assist students with equipment and helping them learn to get off the snow if they fall.
• Demonstrate specific skiing maneuvers, including loading and unloading lifts.
• Attend instructor training as assigned.
• Follow Loveland procedures when working with children and supervise them as needed.
• Perform duties in other departments such as lift operations when required.
