Job summary

Loveland Ski Area is seeking a Certified Ski Instructor for a seasonal role (full-time/part-time). Scheduling requires weekends and holidays. The pay rate ranges from $21.00 to $38.00 per hour, depending on experience, certifications, and schedule commitment.

You will provide high-quality technique/tactics instruction to all ages and levels, adhering to Loveland training materials and safety standards, while ensuring guests have a positive, fun experience.

Qualifications

• PSIA certification required for the role.
• Ability to instruct diverse ages and levels.
• Strong communication and safety-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Teach classes and private lessons with safety, fun and learning as goals.
• Provide content introductions, guidance, feedback, practice time and wrap up per Loveland materials.
• Assist students with equipment and help them learn to get off the snow after a fall.
• Demonstrate skiing maneuvers, including loading/unloading lifts.
• Conduct instructor training as assigned.
• When teaching children, follow Loveland children's procedures.
• Perform occasional duties in other departments like lift operations.
