Job summary

Ski Meadowlark Lodge, Ten Sleep, WY, seeks an enthusiastic Ski & Ride School Instructor to deliver alpine instruction to guests of all ages. This winter seasonal role focuses on safe, engaging lessons, helping shape a new program and promoting guest safety and enjoyment.

Responsibilities include teaching, assessing guest abilities, and maintaining certifications while collaborating with the team to ensure outstanding mountain experiences and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Certification through a recognized ski or snowboard instruction organization preferred.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and peak periods.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Teach skiing and/or snowboarding lessons to individuals and groups of varying ages and skill levels.
• Assess guest abilities and customize instruction to meet learning objectives and personal goals.
• Prioritize safety by following all resort operating procedures, risk management practices, and mountain safety guidelines.
• Create a fun, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment that builds guest confidence and promotes skill progression.
• Communicate effectively with guests, parents, and team members regarding lesson plans, progress, and recommendations.
• Assist guests with equipment use, mountain navigation, and understanding resort policies.
• Maintain professional certifications and participate in ongoing training and development programs.
• Support resort initiatives that enhance guest satisfaction, retention, and overall experience.
