Job summary

Ragged Mountain Resort is seeking a Ski/Ride Instructor to deliver safe, engaging lessons in an outdoor winter environment. You will manage groups, provide feedback, and uphold high customer service standards as a visible ambassador for the resort.

The role requires strong skiing or snowboarding skills, leadership ability, and the stamina to work long hours in cold conditions. PSIA/AASI certification is preferred but not required; drug screening and background checks will be conducted.

Qualifications

• PSIA/AASI Certification preferred but not required.
• Blue+ level skiing or snowboarding ability.
• Strong leadership and group management skills.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to work long hours in cold, inclement weather.
• Pass drug screening and background check.

Responsibilities

• Instruct multiple athletes in an outdoor winter environment.
• Manage lesson time effectively.
• Illustrate program value to increase participation.
• Provide feedback consistent with PSIA/AASI technique.
• Communicate with instructors, supervisors and staff.
• Complete daily student/group evaluations.
• Enforce policies and procedures.
• Follow the Code of Conduct at all times.
• Understand and demonstrate Smart Style.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisors.
