Job summary

Winter Park Resort is seeking a Professional Instructor to teach alpine skiing and/or snowboarding to guests aged 2 through adult at Winter Park. Instructors receive on-snow training and PSIA/AASI certification support, with incentives and tips that can significantly increase pay.

Responsibilities include delivering age-appropriate lessons, ensuring guest safety, communicating schedules, and maintaining records. Applicants must be 18+ and enjoy outdoor work with all abilities.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be 18+ on start date.
• Enjoys working outside with guests of all ages and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Teach lessons to guests (groups, private, or programs) for ages 2–14 using current methods.
• Be friendly, engaged, and helpful toward guests and staff.
• Report on time to assignments at the correct location.
• Use phone & email to communicate schedules, pay, and maintain class records.
• Prioritize guest safety and address concerns.
• Support operations including greeting guests and assisting others.
