Job summary

Christy Sports is seeking a Store Manager for the Ski and Snowboard Rental Department in Denver, CO. The role oversees staff supervision, training, and inventory control to maximize profitability while delivering best-in-class guest service.

You will lead operations, ensure staff knowledge of bindings and boot fitting, manage pricing/promotions, and uphold store cleanliness. Flexible schedule and strong leadership are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Strong ski and/or snowboard background.
• Leadership experience in ski/snowboard rental operations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Self-motivated and able to multi-task.
• Experience with POS systems preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook/Excel/Word).
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Flexible schedule, including nights, holidays and weekends.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to regularly lift 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain guest service standards through personal behavior and leadership.
• Demonstrate knowledge of products and industry trends.
• Ensure staff are trained with binding DIN setting practices.
• Ensure staff are trained with proper boot fitting.
• Ensure pricing is accurate, including promotions.
• Maintain store cleanliness standards.
• Assist store manager in payroll budgeting.
• Assist in hiring, training, coaching, and leading staff.
• Help administer company policies and procedures.
• Protect company assets through loss prevention techniques.
• Prepare, distribute and maintain required documentation.
• Open and close store in absence of manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
