Omni Hotels & Resorts Bretton Woods is seeking a Race Coach to prepare the race course for weekly race series and official events. You will set gates, manage safety nets, and handle race registrations and results with the Chief of Course.

Responsibilities include daily setup and maintenance of race facilities, timing, and coordination with Bretton Woods Race Team while working outdoors in an alpine environment. Flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a race coach preferred.
• Ability to safely operate a snowmobile.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to multi-task within a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to ski/ride while carrying equipment.
• Must be able to ski varied terrain.
• Must be able to work extended hours outdoors in an alpine environment.
• Basic hand tool and computer knowledge.
• Subject to long periods of walking and standing.
• Must be available to work flexible hours to include nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Responsible for preparing the race course for every race event including gate setting, safety netting and other equipment required. This is includes all weekly race series and other Bretton Woods sanctioned races throughout the ski season.
• Perform administrative duties of race events including registration, start lists, and preparing race results.
• Maintain race course wiring and timing equipment.
• Responsible for timing during race events.
• Work closely with Chief of Course during official race events.
• Perform daily set up and maintenance of race facilities
• Event venue construction, maintenance, and event support
• Maintain positive attitude at all times including stressful situations with athletes and/or parents
• Assist Bretton Woods Ski Team with race coaching as needed.
• Travel to other ski areas if additional supervision is needed for members of the Bretton Woods Race Team.
