Solitude Mountain Resort in Utah seeks a Route Leader Specialist to provide on-mountain expertise in avalanche mitigation. This non-supervisory, seasonal position supports the Ski Patrol with route leadership and route documentation.
Part‑time shifts may be available at the discretion of management. Mature candidates must be a Solitude Patroller with Ski Patrol Level 2+ and Pro 1 certification, with intimate terrain knowledge and strong radio communication skills.

This is a non-supervisory position that will provide on mountain expertise in avalanche mitigation work as a route leader. Part time applicants are at the discretion of the Avalanche Mitigation Manager based on prior experience. The Route Leader Specialist reports directly to the Director of Patrol, Avalanche Mitigation Manager, Avalanche Mitigation Supervisor, and Ski Patrol Manager. This position is part of a bargaining unit represented by the Solitude Ski Patrol Union.
