Solitude Mountain Resort is seeking an Operations Specialist for seasonal full-time work in the ski patrol operations team. The role focuses on resource management for up to 15 patrol employees, field-based duties, and collaboration with patrol leadership to maintain safety and efficiency on mountain operations.
The ideal candidate will have extensive patrol experience at Solitude, strong leadership and communication skills, and a working knowledge of avalanche mitigation and Ski Patrol
Appointment Type: Seasonal Full Time
This is a non-supervisory position that will provide resource management for up to 15 employees and will be responsible for a wide variety of mountain operations. The incumbent will spend the majority of their time in the field. The Operations Specialist reports directly to the Director of Patrol, Ski Patrol Manager, Ski Patrol Supervisor, and the Avalanche Mitigation Manager. This position requires strong interpersonal relationship skills. This position is part of a bargaining unit represented by the Solitude Ski Patrol Union.
