Job summary

The Omni Homestead Resort & Spa is seeking a Ski/Recreation Maintenance Supervisor to maintain the ski mountain area and resort grounds, focusing on high-quality snow production, grooming efficiency, and safety. The role emphasizes leadership in lift maintenance and winter operations.

Responsibilities include routine lift maintenance, snowmaking, grooming, and coordinating annual maintenance plans, while training staff and supporting all recreation department needs under diverse weather

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience with maintenance and running of Ski Lifts.
• Strong mechanical, electrical and hydraulic knowledge required.
• Ability to operate lift towers at heights and work in extreme weather.
• Excellent interpersonal and team–oriented skills for training others.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on ski lifts and related equipment.
• Maintain snowmaking, grooming and tubing hill equipment for quality output.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of snowmaking systems.
• Assist with daily ski operations, including lift and patrol activities.
• Train and supervise lift operations staff during winter season.
• Coordinate projects based on annual maintenance needs and budgets.
• Handle general recreation department maintenance tasks as needed.
• Operate vehicles (snowmobiles, ATVs) safely for resort operations.
