Job summary

Mountain Capital Partners at Purgatory Resort in Durango, CO is hiring a Lift Electrician II. This full-time, year-round role focuses on inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of ski lift machinery and components, while mentoring level 1 electricians and pursuing level 3 certifications.

You will log work, follow ANSI and state guidelines, and perform snow removal around lift areas in winter. The job requires outdoor endurance, the ability to ride a snowmobile, and a willingness to work in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• College degree in a related field is a plus but not required.
• Broad knowledge of ski lift equipment, terminology and operations.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Safety of yourself and others is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test and monitor ski lift machinery and components.
• Execute scheduled maintenance on ski lift machinery and components.
• Respond to lift operational problems and implement repairs.
• Log maintenance and repairs on log sheets.
• Inform lift maintenance manager of progress and issues.
• Organize and clean shops and lift terminals.
• Remove snow around lift machinery in winter.
