Job summary

Mountain Capital Partners' Purgatory Resort in Durango, CO is seeking a Lift Maintenance Mechanic II to inspect, test, maintain and repair ski lift machinery and components, and to train level 1 mechanics toward level 3 status. This is a full-time, year-round role focused on safety and reliable lift operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A valid driver’s license required.
• College degree in a relatable field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test and monitor ski lift machinery and components.
• Execute scheduled maintenance on lift machinery and components, tools and buildings.
• Respond to lift operational problems and implement repairs.
• Fabricate and repair components as needed.
• Install and remove lift components.
• Log maintenance activities and report progress to the lift maintenance manager.
• Maintain and organize shops and lift terminals.
• Work outdoors in varying winter conditions.
