Vail Resorts in Crested Butte, CO, is hiring for winter seasonal Service Tech positions. Join our mountain team, learn gear services, and provide guests with exceptional equipment advice and maintenance.

Starting wage is $20.00 per hour with full-time hours available during the winter season (2026/2027). Training is provided, and no housing is offered. Applications accepted until December 15 or until filled.

Qualifications

• Display mechanical aptitude to tune, maintain and repair ski/snowboard equipment.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays and weekends.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction.
• Able to stand for extended periods in a busy retail/rental environment.
• Clear spoken and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service while advising on gear condition.
• Perform tuning and repair services for guests with training provided.
• Collaborate with teammates to maintain safety standards.
• Assist in cashiering, retail sales, rentals, or other departments as needed.
• Fulfill other duties as assigned.
