Job summary

Westlake Royal Building Products is seeking an Extrusion Operator in Bristol, TN to run multiple extrusion lines for PVC mouldings, ensuring quality and safety. You will set up lines, perform changeovers, inspect outputs, and keep the area clean and organized for efficient production.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 1–3 years in industrial manufacturing. Strong math, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1–3 years of industrial manufacturing experience preferred.
• Mechanically inclined with strong troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong math skills for ratios, percentages, fractions and measurements.
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, specs and docs.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor a minimum of six extrusion lines while maintaining proper machine settings.
• Bundle, stack, and prepare extruded mouldings for downstream processes.
• Monitor color, extrusion rates, profile configuration, and production counts.
• Maintain a steady supply of compound material at assigned machines.
• Input production and process data into the designated acquisition system.
• Assist with moving and handling extruded materials as needed.
• Inspect products to ensure quality standards and identify rejects.
• Perform tooling changeovers and die cleaning.
• Maintain extrusion equipment in proper working condition.
• Report equipment issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow safety policies, maintain a clean area, and work well with teammates.
